Relaxing pool afternoons at the resort balanced out the busier island hopping days nicely. One long tail boat ride felt a bit cramped with too many tourists packed in, otherwise a smooth trip.
Went hoping for a quiet romantic beach break but Maya Bay was extremely crowded when our boat arrived, barely any space to actually swim. Nipa Resort pool time made up for it a little. Would suggest going earlier in the morning before the tour groups descend.
Patong sunset dinner on our last evening was a lovely way to close out five nights. Beaches were gorgeous throughout, though Patong itself at night is louder and more touristy than we expected for a romantic trip.
