Krabi's islands at sunset with just the two of us on deck was pure romance, exactly what a honeymoon leg should be. Bangkok in the middle added city buzz without ever swamping the trip.
Three destinations in eight nights could have felt rushed but the flow between Phuket, Bangkok, and Krabi was smooth for us as a couple. Phi Phi Islands snorkelling in the morning followed by the sunset cruise around Krabi's karsts on a different day gave us two very different but equally special sea experiences. Bangkok in between added the city energy we wanted without overwhelming the trip. Would recommend this exact sequence to any couple planning Thailand.
Wat Arun at sunset is a must, the temple glows beautifully against the river. Only complaint is the shopping stop on the way to Krabi felt unnecessary and ate into our beach time.
