June timing meant occasional rain showers cut short our second day at Phang Nga Bay, and one of the transfers between Phuket and Krabi took nearly four hours due to ferry delays. Maya Bay and the elephant sanctuary were still the highlights that made the trip worthwhile.
Promthep Cape and the karsts were beautiful, no argument, but our June timing meant on-and-off rain kept interrupting the outdoor days. One lagoon stop got rained off entirely with no reschedule, which stung for the price.
