Beautiful scenery, no argument there, but the Titlis Cliff Walk queue swallowed nearly forty minutes of our morning and by the time we crossed, cloud had rolled in and half the view had gone. Felt like we paid summit prices for a fogged-over photo.
Switzerland for our anniversary was worth every bit of planning that went into it. Engelberg gave us the alpine dream we wanted, the cable car up Mt Titlis opening onto endless snow and glaciers left us both a little emotional if I am honest. Zurich afterward felt like a gentle wind down, old town alleys, a calm boat cruise on the lake, everything paced just right.
Titlis summit was stunning but far more crowded than we expected, felt more like a tourist assembly line than the peaceful mountain moment we had imagined. Cliff Walk queue alone took nearly forty minutes.
